Cultural Responsiveness Committee (CRC)
4th Thursday, Bi-monthly 1:00p-2:30p
CRC serves to address and lift up the cultural, racial, and linguistic behavioral health needs of consumers, family members and residents of Alameda County. Also, participates in the overall planning and implementation of services to help improve health outcomes of beneficiaries.
Alameda County Pride Coalition
1st Wednesday of the month 10:30a-12:00p
To empower and increase the visibility for LGBTQII2S and community by uniting individuals and organizations to work for equality and inclusions in Alameda County.
African American Steering Committee for Health & Wellness (AASCHW)
4th Tuesday of the month 12:30p-3:30p
AASCHW is dedicated to ensure Alameda County's behavioral health system provides quality, culturally responsive and integrated care that is delivered in and honoring and respectful manner to African American consumers, family members, and community at large.

Office of Ethnic Services (OES)
OES strives to respond and improve the quality of behavioral health services and equity in care for the cultural and linguistic needs of Alameda County’s Medi-Cal beneficiaries. In addition, OES has an ongoing commitment to offering culturally specific trainings and outreach activities to promote and achieve health equity for all people.

Office of Family Empowerment (OFE)
The OFE provides technical assistance, coaching and support on Family Driven and Family informed Care, to family organizations, providers, schools, and other health and welfare organizations.

Office of Consumer Empowerment (OCE)
OCE empowers people living with mental health and/or substance use conditions to engage in natural peer support, advocacy, leadership and make positive changes in the public behavioral health system.

Underserved Ethnic & Language Populations (UELP)
UELP programs are prevention-focused and provide mental health and wellness outreach and engagement services, workshops, and support groups for various ethnic groups throughout Alameda County. Individual preventive counseling is also offered. Populations served include: Afghan, African, Asian (East, South, Southeast), Filipino, Latinos, Native Americans, and Pacific Islanders. ACCESS
ACCESS is a multilingual, culturally responsive call center that provides information, screening and referrals for mental health and substance use disorder treatment for Alameda County residents. Hotline is available 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. For mental health, call ACCESS at 800.491.9099 or 711 for language assistance. After hours roll over to Crisis Support Services. For substance use services call, 844.682.7215 (For hearing impaired TTY) 800.653.2373)
When requested and available, free ASL and Language Interpreters are offered.
