Harm Reduction and Overdose Prevention: Looking Back and Looking Forward

This presentation will review proven Harm Reduction interventions within a Public Health Framework which were initiated beginning in the mid-90’s in San Francisco through the Department of Public Health and Substance Use Disorder providers such as Walden House- now HealthRight360. We will highlight the evolution of overdose interventions and use of Naloxone as a component of Medication First Harm Reduction strategies.
