This webinar will explore innovative opportunities for collaboration between syringe services programs (SSPs) and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment programs to strengthen pathways to care for people who use drugs. Drawing on best practices in harm reduction, person-centered care, and current guidance from ASAM and NIDA, the presenters will highlight how these partnerships can help bridge gaps between harm reduction and treatment systems. Topics will include strategies for building trust with participants, referrals, reducing barriers to treatment, and supporting people through the continuum of care. The session will also address how to navigate common challenges and foster a shared commitment to engagement, safety, and client autonomy.
