This introductory webinar is designed for providers who are looking to gain a foundational understanding of MediCal rates and their role in setting rates within their County structures. Participants will learn the importance of rate transparency. By the end of this webinar, participants will be equipped to navigate rate negotiations with their County, ultimately contributing to the financial sustainability and success of their organizations.
Learning Objectives: Participants will learn the basic components of rate structures in MediCal services, including the factors that influence rates and common terms used in rate agreements. Participants will acquire practical negotiation skills, enabling them to negotiate rates more effectively with their County partners. Participants will learn about the importance of rate transparency and how to advocate for clear and fair rate-setting processes with their payers.
