Navigating Reentry: Supporting Citizens with Co-Occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders

This presentation will help participants to better understand the characteristics of justice-involved individuals who suffer from co-occurring mental health (MH) and substance use disorders (SUD), as well as how CDCR prepares for the community transition for individuals who have co-occurring MH/SUD, with an emphasis on individuals who have serious mental illness (SMI).
